Confidentiality Policy

Last updated: March 18, 2025

This document describes the confidentiality commitments that govern how Aureum Aletheia handles sensitive information submitted by capital providers and companies. These commitments are binding on all platform operations.

1. Definition of Confidential Information

For the purposes of this policy, "Confidential Information" means all non-public information submitted to the platform by a user, including but not limited to: financial statements and projections; cap table and ownership structure; governance documentation; intellectual property disclosures; strategic plans; customer and pipeline data; and any other information designated as confidential by the submitting party.

2. Platform Confidentiality Commitments

Aureum Aletheia commits to the following with respect to all Confidential Information:

(a) No Cross-Party Disclosure. Information submitted by a company for evaluation purposes will not be disclosed to capital providers, and vice versa, except as expressly described in Section 3 below.

(b) No Third-Party Sale. Confidential Information will never be sold, licensed, or otherwise transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

(c) Purpose Limitation. Confidential Information will be used only for the purpose of generating the evaluation outputs requested by the submitting user.

(d) Staff Access Limitation. Access to Confidential Information by platform staff is restricted to operational necessity and is governed by internal access controls and confidentiality obligations.

3. Capital Provider Pipeline — Consent-Based Sharing

The only circumstance under which company evaluation data is shared with capital providers is the following: a company achieves a composite score of 7.5 or above (A or A+ rating), and the company provides explicit, affirmative opt-in consent to pipeline sharing through the platform interface.

In this circumstance, the document shared is the standardized deal memo only — not raw data, not source documents, not any information beyond the structured evaluation output. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by the company through the platform interface.

4. Evaluation Independence

Aureum Aletheia operates as a neutral infrastructure layer. Evaluation outputs are generated by a standardized protocol and are not influenced by the identity of the capital provider requesting the evaluation or any commercial relationship between Aureum Aletheia and any party. The same evaluation framework is applied to every submission.

5. Legal Disclosure Obligations

Aureum Aletheia may be required to disclose Confidential Information in response to a valid legal order, subpoena, or regulatory requirement. In such circumstances, Aureum Aletheia will: provide prompt notice to the affected user to the extent permitted by law; limit disclosure to the minimum information required; and cooperate with any reasonable efforts by the user to seek a protective order.

6. Confidentiality Inquiries

Questions regarding this Confidentiality Policy or specific confidentiality concerns may be directed to: [email protected]. Institutional users with specific confidentiality requirements are encouraged to contact us prior to submitting sensitive information.
